Wow

Goodness, I forgot I had this blog. Hello everyone!! Writing is still one of my big passions and actually I have an e-book published on Amazon.com. I love that I can say that. It's one of those joys in life that you don't often get to say. I published a book. Woo...that feels good. I would love to say I published a book that you can hold and touch and flip the pages but unfortunately that is still in the process of happening. I'm actually working on a novel right now. A teen novel. I hope I can pull it off and make it happen but for right now I'm just trying to get through school and get started on my life. I am currently working on finishing up my major in History and then working on my minor and graduating next year. I am so excited to be done with college and out in the world, working. I really am. I've been going through some tough times and some arguments and really those crying moments you go through when you don't really know where your life is headed. One of my biggest inspirations, my aunt Christine, died about a year ago...she was my friend, my confidant, and she was always pushing me about my writing because she wrote too..and I love her and I hope wherever she is, that she is making smiles happen.

My life is bigger and better than it used to be. I have just recently turned 21, and I am surrounded by good friends and that's all I can ask for in this stage of my life. My family is supportive but sometimes I wish they were not my family so I could get away with not talking to them for a few days, haha. Really, though as of right now, my writing is going through some stages. I don't like to write while I'm in school because I have so many papers due as it is being a history major that when I do sit down to write, I get jittery and just not in the right brain to write a fictional story. Especially the teenage novel I'm working on now. I've been trying to figure out if I can do it all in one book, or if I should make it longer than that but I think I'll start with one book. It's gonna be my first novel that I will publish, and I think one book is enough. The book that I have published on Amazon is a short story called Humpty Dumpty Philosophy. I know it could be cheaper but I was trying to get by and the next one will be cheaper. I would love it, if you could at least check it out and buy it read it, I'd love to know what a stranger would think of it, outside my family and friends.
